Although I’ve visited Great Comp many times during the twenty years I’ve lived in the parish, I’d never actually managed to make the summer show, so on Sunday, with a couple of hours to spare between ‘Dad Taxi’ duties, I dropped by to take a look. It was extremely busy, and the weather was perfect. I love the gardens and how visitors disappear into them and then reappear unexpectedly somewhere else. There’s always something new to photograph, and I usually spot little details I’d never noticed before. Well done to all involved in what appeared to be a very successful weekend.
