A strange glowing orb has been seen during daylight hours over the parish this weekend. Some have suggested it was the sun, but whatever it was, it wasn’t raining, and that can only be good news. With just over a week until Christmas, I made my first nocturnal ‘sweep’ of the villages to photograph this year’s festive displays and plan to do another in a few day’s time.
