29th November 2024
After the excitement of last weekend’s storm, finishing the working week with somewhat less blustery, albeit colder conditions, has been welcome.
Over the previous two days, I have managed to get out at dawn and capture the parish when many locals are rushing around, getting ready for work, shepherding the children to school, etc. As a professional photographer for over thirty years, it is one of the benefits of not having a 9-5 job that allows me to do this; however, this often means I’m working unsociable hours when everyone else has finished their day or at weekends.
This morning, it was lovely to bump into several familiar faces, and as usual, while wandering, I was accompanied by the local robins, who always take great interest in what I’m doing.
This is Platt in the swan song of November 2024.
